When it comes to super chic duds for dudes, nobody does it better than Drew Lewis. The upscale men’s boutique is Atlanta’s beacon for the bespoke. Owners Seth Kloss and David Gore have gone to great lengths to fill what they saw as a fashion void when they opened the shop in 2008. The two NYC transplants (Gore, a former Abercrombie and Hugo Boss window dresser, and Kloss, a former event coordinator) have their own chic-meets-classic style and wanted to share that same aesthetic with Atlanta shoppers.
“We’re here to dress the casual guy that wants to feel good and look good,” says Kloss. “It’s all about that New York style.”
And their new space in Midtown’s Metropolis Building fits that bill, too. The dark grey, exposed brick walls feel very NYC. And with plush leather chairs, a fireplace and a fully stocked bar (which Kloss jokes is a “gift with purchase”), the boutique has all the style of New York with all the southern comforts to which Atlantans are accustomed. The store is even dog friendly, so your style savvy pooch can get in on the fun.
But it all comes down to the clothing and accessories at Drew Lewis. Oozing with laid-back style, the new spring offerings evoke the spirit of a New Yorker on vacation in Miami. Always ahead of the fashion curve, Drew Lewis offers hard-to-find brands such as Rag & Bone, Grant Rugger, Company of We and Hickey. As for accessories, the back wall is outfitted with pegs, hanging from which are a decadent variety of incredible (and—don’t worry, guys—functional) Jack Spade bags.
